Every Sunday MMOZed will have a summary of the news from Undead Labs from the past week.
Summary of Official Undead Labs Updates- The biggest news this week was Undead Labs breaking its three month media blackout.
Hi all. We are absolutely still here! It takes time to get all the machines turned on, but we're making good progress and will have substantive updates soon. Hang in there!

- A follower of Undead Labs Facebook page asked what kind of game play can we be expecting; specifically if it was going to be action oriented or use the standard MMO model? Undead Labs responded with,
we have to be true to the platform. Nobody wants to see a console game with "select target, select action, wait, repeat" combat. It needs to feel like a console game, which means action, motion, and visceral thrills. Fear not.

- One fan on Facebook asked how will the style of the game compaire to zombie fiction such as Zombieland, The Walking Dead and World War Z. Undead Labs explained,
... I'm a huge Walking Dead fan. I think it closely captures the survival style we are going for. A touch of humor couldn't hurt, though. WWZ is great too, but I'm more inspired by the intimacy of following a group of survivors in WD than the global scattershot style of WWZ.

- Undead labs also responded about how survival is a main theme of the MMOZ.
... absolutely. It's all about post-outrbreak survival. Other games cover the joy of mowing through hordes with chainsaws pretty well. We're aiming to dump you in a post-apocalyptic world and let you see you well you can survive.
